Upgradation of Middle Schools to High School level
Eight male and female middle schools have been upgraded as high level in District Muzaffargarh. The detail of schools is as under:-
1- Govt. Boys Middle School Mian Wala.
2- Govt. Girls Middle School .Chak No. 6111/TDA
3- Govt. Girls Middle School Karam Dad Qureshi
4- Govt. Boys Middle School Dost Ali Wala
5- Govt. Boys Middle School Jahan Khan
6- Govt. Boys Middle School Thatta Qureshi
7- Govt. Girls Middle School Mahra
8- Govt. Girls Middle School Phullan
One post Headmaster/Headmistress in BS-17, One post of SSE in BS-16, one post of DM in BS-9, One post of Junior Clerk in BS-7 and one post of C-IV servant have been sanctioned in each school.

CHIEF MINISTER PUNJAB SCHOOL REFORMS ROAD-MAP-2011
The Chief Minister Punjab in a meeting with all the DCOs, EDOs (Education), DMOs and other Officers of Education Department has announced the School Reforms Road map in a meeting on April the 7th.The Chief Minister has imparted instructions and given clear target to School Education Department that 100% enrollment and 100% retention must be ensured by 31-10-2011. A survey of Out of school children has almost been completed in all the District in collaboration with NCHD and campaign for admission of OSC's has been started with the commencement of new academic year on 1st April 2011. The DPI (SE) Punjab vide letter No. 4468 dated 9.4.2011 has issued some points to achieve the target within the prescribed limit of time.
1- Banners must be displayed on all the schools regarding new admission in the school highlighting "ENGLISH MEDIUM, FREE EDUCATION'.
2- The register of out of school children should be maintained in each school on permanent basis and its availability mus be ensured.
3- The students, parents, teachers, member of School Council be involved in persuading the parents to send their kids to schools. They should be given clear targets
4- The message of compulsory education and admission of 100% out of school children in schools be conveyed through school Assembly on daily basis.
5- The school council meetings be arranged in writing be kept in the school for verification.
6- Cooperation of all NGO's private institutions and public representative be got to achieve target.
7- "Ima-e-Kiraam" of the catchments area of the school be contacted and they may be requested to highlight the importance of education in their "Khutbas" on Friday and persuade the parents to send their children to school.
8- In case the parents are very poor to bear the expenditure of Faroge-e-Taleem and School Uniform, they may be extended full help from Farogh-e-Taleem fund and they should be provided all possible financial help with assistance of members of school council.
9- The atmosphere of the school be totally changed and converted into child friendly.The head teacher should give training to the school staff to adopt friendly/motherly attitude with the students.
10- The small children be provided colorful activities by providing toys, sports materials, charts and color pencil on self help basis or from Farogh-e-Taleem Fund if sufficient funds are available. These things may be collected from elder students from their home which are not being utilized in their homes and can be properly utilized in the school.
11- In case the parents do not send their children to school despite all of the efforts mentioned above then the Compulsory Education Act 1994 be also utilized to persuade the parents to send the OSC to school.
12- IN case of absenteeism on the part of newly admitted children, the parents be contacted through students and teachers to ensure their presence in the schools.
13- Sports activities be promoted in the Primary School especially for beginning classes to create attraction/ affiliation among the children for the school.
14- The parents be apprised of the attendance position of their children on weekly basis through concerned teachers/students to improve retention.
The DPI (SE) emphasized the Education Officers that reporting system of progress may be re-examined. Proper and accurate reporting be ensured to achieve the real target.
Up-gradation of High Schools to Higher Secondary School level
According to the news 2-Government Boys High Schools and one Government Girls High School in District Muzaffargarh have been upgraded to the Higher Secondary School level. The staff of these higher secondary schools have also been sanctioned. These 3 schools are; Government High School, Budh, Government High School Sinawa and Government Girls High School, Ehsan Pur. The following posts have been sanctioned for each higher secondary school:-
one post of Principal in BS-19, one post of Senior Subject Specialist in BS-19, three posts of Senior Subject Specialists in BS-18, Five posts of Subject Specialist in BS-17, On post of Lecturer Assistant in BS-7, One post of Junior Clerk in BS-7, One post of LA in BS-1 and one post of Naib Qasid in BS-1 Toal posts are 15.

Promotion of EST to SST Science (Female)
Applications from those female teachers (ESTs) who could not apply for in-service promotion as SST Science in the last DPC having qualification of B.Sc 2nd Division with B.Ed 2nd Division have been invited by Education Department Muzaffargarh. These application with ACRs, synopsis, No inquiry/No punishment certificate etc. can be submitted in the office till 23.4.2011.

PROMOTION OF SSTS(GENERAL M&F) AS SUBJECT SPECIALIST BS-17
According to DPI Secondary Education Punjab, Lahore the promotion cases of SSTs for promotion as Subject Specialist (M&F) with Master Degree 2nd Division in the relevant subject and B.d 2nd Division have been called. The following doucments must be attached with the promotion cases.
1- Complete ACRs upto 31.12.2010
2- Synopsis(each page signed by the DEO (SE) concerned) 6-copies
3- Copies of B.A/B.Sc or M.A/M.Sc and B.Ed degree (attested by DEO(SE) only).
4 Fresh No enquiry / No punishment certificate (signed by DEO (SE). 6-copies
5- 3-years results (2008-2009 and 2010) with the name of school and subject signed by the DEO(se) 6-copies of each
8- Appointment order as Regular SST & joining report (attested by DEO (SE). 6 copies of each
Note:- In case of Inter Division / Inter District transfer of an SST, the seniority for promotion will not be disturbed. Promotion case will be strictly be prepared as per first date of SST (Regular) appointment.

Quaid-eAzam Model Middle School Meeran Mullan Muzaffargarh
The Chief Minister Punjab on 12th April 2011, visited Merran Mullan and inaugurated so many projects including Government Quaid-e-Azam Middle Model School, Meeran Mullan. This school has specially been opened in this Model Village which is established for flood effected people. This is the best school in the District for its beautiful building, furniture, free text books and with the best teachers. The staff of this school has also been sanctioned. At the time inauguration of this school, the Saudi and Turkish ambassadors were also accompanied with CM Punjab. His Excellency Saudi Ambassador give 1000 dollars to the school children. The Chief guest appreciated the efforts of District administration and staff school for successful establishment of village and this school. He hoped that this school will be proved for the best school in the country. At present this school enrolment is 550 students.

The teachers who have applied for DTE are informed that the interview of DTE will be held on 18.4.2011 at Elementary College, Muzaffargarh
